First Lady changing lives

The First Lady Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa is positively impacting people’s lives through her various charitable works and Government recognises her work, Vice President Dr Constantino Chiwenga has said.  

Vice President Chiwenga said this in his birthday congratulatory message to the First Lady who celebrated his 61st birthday today.

The VP,  his wife Colonel Miniyothabo Chiwenga and their family, said they are heartened to join President Mnangagwa and the nation at large in celebrating the First Lady Dr Mnangagwa.

“We recognize your ambassadorial roles and philanthropic endeavours that have transformed the livelihoods of the less privileged in our society,” said VP Chiwenga.

“May the Almighty Lord bless you with more years of abundant good health, wisdom and generosity as you continue to uplift the marginalized communities, as we march towards the attainment of Vision 2030,” said VP Chiwenga.

Dr Mnangagwa has championed several projects aimed at improving the lives of the less privileged through her Angel of Hope Foundation.

The First Lady has also championed a return to cultural values that inculcate discipline among the youths through her Gota/Nhanga/Ixhiba programme. – Herald
