Our work in the health sector

Dr. Auxillia Mnangagwa, Zimbabwe’s First Lady and Health and Child Care Ambassador since 2019, is dedicated to ensuring accessible, quality healthcare for all. Through Angel of Hope Foundation, she has significantly impacted Zimbabwe’s health sector, leaving an indelible mark.

Utilizing her Foundation’s mobile clinic, Dr. Mnangagwa conducts extensive medical outreach programs throughout Zimbabwe, reaching remote areas with essential healthcare services. Notably, she has spearheaded partnerships to establish hospitals and clinics, including a cutting-edge facility in Binga, opened in collaboration with Mrs. Jeannie Burns Buckner, Matter Foundation, and Love for Africa.

Dr. Mnangagwa’s personal investments have led to the establishment of health posts, such as the outpatient maternal and child health service center in Chiweshe. Presently, her foundation is nearing completion of a specialized hospital for mothers and children in Harare, further enhancing healthcare accessibility.

Recognizing the rising prevalence of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and cancers, Dr. Mnangagwa conducts extensive awareness campaigns nationwide, ensuring no community is left behind. Her advocacy extends to women’s health, emphasizing reproductive health and regular screenings to mitigate health risks.

Furthermore, Dr. Mnangagwa actively combats drug abuse, particularly among youth, through innovative sports-based awareness campaigns. Her mission is to create a drug-free Zimbabwe, safeguarding the well-being and future of its citizens.

Driven by a passion for community health and well-being, Dr. Auxillia Mnangagwa continues to lead impactful initiatives, fostering a healthier, safer Zimbabwe for generations to come.
