Passionately known as Amai (Mother) or Mother of the nation, Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa became the First Lady of the Republic of Zimbabwe on the 24th of November 2017. She is a former Chairperson of the Pan African Parliament for the Southern African Region.

Spurred by her motherly instinct, First Lady Dr. Auxillia Mnangagwa is working flat out to address the plight of street children, recently launching a massive skills development project in Mbare.

The country’s health ambassador and philanthropist First Lady Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa, through her Angel of Hope Foundation, donated a consignment of rice and mealie-meal to major referral hospitals in Harare and Bulawayo as part of her efforts to augment supplies for patients at the health facilities.

PHILANTHROPIC works by First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa, which have spread across the length and breadth of the country, have helped to shine a light on living conditions of most Zimbabweans, prompting Government to intervene to complement her efforts in some cases, President Emmerson Mnangagwa has said.

FIRST Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa, through her Angel of Hope Foundation, donated over 900 bags of maize to 70 boarding schools and correctional facilities countrywide as part of her drive to ensure she meets the nutritional requirements of the country’s citizenry.
