First Lady Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa’s gallant work to empower and protect the rights of widows has earned her recognition and an invitation to be a special guest speaker at the high-level first-of-its-kind session of The African Widows Summit (TAWS) in Zanzibar.

First Lady Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa smiled on Gogo Matenda and thousands of other villagers in Mashonaland East Province when through her Angel of Hope Foundation mobilised a team of 25 medical professionals from the United States comprising of doctors, nurses and those from the humanitarian side and initiated a free medical outreach programme in Kotwa bringing the hospital and clinic to their doorstep.

SADC countries have showered praises on Zimbabwe for the milestones it has achieved through implementing environment-friendly projects under Geo Pomona Waste Management, with the regional bloc honouring the First Lady Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa by appointing her its Environment Patron.

ANGEL of Hope Foundation patron First Lady Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa took her programme of distributing blankets and groceries to the Midlands Province, bringing smiles and a sense of belonging among beneficiaries who included the elderly, the disabled and child-headed families.

Angel of Hope Foundation’s Patron First Lady Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa yesterday handed over an assortment of goods including blankets, winter coats and groceries to Hupenyu Hutsva Children’s Home as part of her efforts to ease the plight of children in homes.

INSPIRED by First Lady Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa’s philanthropic work and passion to make a difference in the lives of other people, a Harare family which owns a factory, yesterday donated an assortment of winter clothing to Angel of Hope Foundation for onward distribution to the needy.

TRADITIONAL dishes being promoted by First Lady Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa have, apart from benefiting consumers with their high nutritional value and medicinal properties, contributed significantly to employment creation and boosting gastronomy tourism.
